The Miniature Pinscher

The Miniature Pinscher is a headstrong dog that might be a bit timid but can be a loyal companion for the right person.

Description
Short fur on a compact muscular body with a strong muzzle and small feet. Tail is usually docked and ears may be cropped.

Size
The Min Pin is 8 to 10 pounds and 10 to 12 inches tall

Color
Red, chocolate or black and tan.

Origin
Developed in Germany from terriers, this breed is not related to the Doberman Pinscher although he does look like a mini version of that breed.

Temperament
Demanding, headstrong and very energetic. The Min Pin is hardy and couragous.

Training
This highly intelligent breed can learn obediance training very quickly. Don't spoil him or he will become a tyrant!

Living Conditions
Good for apartments. Active indoors. Protect him from cold weather.
